Description
The Regal Rexnord – Fasco C1S30A 1-Pole Contactor 30A is an electrically operated switching component to control high-voltage components through a low-voltage control signal. It operates as an interface between the thermostat or control board and major electrical loads such as compressors, condenser fans, and other motor-driven parts in HVAC system equipment. When a 24V signal is received from the control circuit, the contactor closes its internal switch to allow power to pass through the load side of the circuit. It is installed inside outdoor condenser units and commercial equipment, where it supports accurate starts and stops of the operation of cooling or heating cycles within the system electrical control assembly.
