Description
The Heatcraft Refrigeration 24752403 Lower Defrost Heater is a heating coil that is an electrically powered part that melts the frost and ice on evaporator coils during defrost cycles. It is also applied in the HVAC systems at 450W and 230V to supply controlled heat to the lower portion of the coil when turned on by the defrost control. The evaporator is laid below or close to the surface of the evaporator on refrigeration units or on heat pump units. It is used to ensure better system operation, airflow and heat exchange efficiency in cold weather operation
