Description
The Hoffman 45 3/4″ X 1/2″ Straight Steam Convector Air Vent helps by releasing air that steam traps in HVAC systems. When steam enters the radiator or convector, it needs the air to be pushed out so the steam can move around well. It opens by itself to release any air, steam can move by the system properly. The air is gone, and the vent shuts to keep the steam from escaping. By doing this, the system pressure is controlled, helping heat move better and the whole system work better. The air vent stops air pockets that might make heating uneven or lower the system’s efficiency, so steam-based systems work better and feel more comfortable.
