International Comfort Products 1193984 Drain Pan collects and directs liquid condensate away from cooling coils inside air handlers and evaporator units. Positioned directly beneath the indoor coil assembly in HVAC systems the sloped pan captures water droplets formed during the dehumidification process. Collected condensate flows along the pan base toward integral drain outlets connected to primary and secondary drain lines. Channeling moisture into the external drainage network prevents water accumulation inside the cabinet. Proper condensate containment protects surrounding internal components, cabinet insulation and structural building surfaces from moisture exposure during active cooling cycles.
