Description
The Lennox 12W78 Drain Pan is a condensate collecting element that is applied in residential and light commercial HVAC systems. It is mainly used to collect and channel condensation that is generated by the evaporator coil in the cooling process. This mechanism is based on a sloped pan design which direct the collected water to a drain outlet which is linked to the condensate drainage line. Installation is placed under the evaporator coil in the air handler or furnace cabinet. In the air conditioning systems, the drain pan assists in condensate removal process, aiding in appropriate moisture regulation and avoiding the presence of water in the equipment.
