Description
The Lennox 17Y92 Ignition Control Board is the electronic component that controls the ignition sequence and flame sensing in gas burner HVAC systems. It takes the signal of the thermostat and safety sensors and sends power to the ignition parts to start and control the combustion. It is installed in residential and light commercial gas furnaces and heating units in the control compartment and connected to the burner and sensor circuits. It assists in making sure that the ignition is coordinated to enable a proper startup and stable operation of the burner.
