Description
Lennox 19D31 Flame Sensor is a component used in systems to detect the presence of a burner flame during ignition. It monitor combustion in gas furnace by generating a small electrical signal when a flame is present allowing the control board to check safe operation. If no flame is detected it signal the system to shut off gas flow to prevent unburned fuel accumulation. It is installed within commercial furnace assemblies as part of the safety control circuit in HVAC systems. The sensor supports accurate furnace startup and ongoing operation within heating equipment.
