Description
The Quincy Compressor 110512-003 Switch monitors air pressure and regulates compressor operation through electrical contacts. It responds to changes in system conditions, opening or closing the circuit at specified points. The 135 PSI setting establishes the upper switching point, while the 40 PSI differential defines the change between activation levels in HVAC systems. The NEMA 1 enclosure suits protected indoor applications where basic protection from accidental contact is required. Within a compressor assembly, the switch coordinates motor control with stored-air conditions, allowing the unit to start or stop according to the selected switching settings.
