Description
The Rheem-Ruud 43-101666-69 Single Round Capacitor 70 MFD 440V is an electrical storage component used in air conditioners, heat pumps, and air handler units. It supplies the starting and running energy required by compressor motors and fan motors by storing and releasing electrical charge during operation. The unit operator uses dielectric plates that accumulate and discharge voltage in controlled cycles to maintain motor rotation stability. It is mounted within the electrical compartment near the motor circuit, improving motor efficiency, reducing starting and maintaining consistent operation across cooling and heating cycles.
