Description
The Rheem-Ruud 51-106546-34 serves as a 3/4HP, 208-230V Variable Speed Blower Motor which operates within Rheem and Ruud furnaces and air handlers for HVAC systems. The motor controls airflow speed through its speed adjustment mechanism which responds to heating or cooling requirements. The motor operates at reduced speeds to enhance energy efficiency when complete capacity is not necessary. The variable speed operation produces calmer operation while maintaining steady temperatures alongside lower energy usage than one-speed motors. The combination of this device with appropriate thermostats enables enhanced humidity control.
