The Sporlan Controls 128474 8-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve operates(TXV) to control refrigerant flow precisely for maintaining optimal superheat levels in HVAC systems and refrigeration systems. This valve controls evaporator performance through its 1/2″ inlet and 7/8″ ODF outlet and 10-foot capillary tube which avoids both overfeeding and starvation of refrigerant.
