Description
The Sporlan Controls 169505 Thermostatic Expansion Valve ERYE-11.5-CP is designed to regulate the flow of liquid refrigerant into the evaporator according to changing cooling requirements in refrigeration systems. It is 4 inches by 7 inches by 2 inches, features ODF connections and includes a 5-foot external equalizer for specified installation requirements. It is placed in the refrigerant circuit forward of the evaporator and it responds to superheat conditions to maintain the correct refrigerant feed during operation in HVAC systems. It supports stable heat exchange, protects the compressor from liquid refrigerant return and restores proper refrigerant control.
