Description
The Trane CTR02580 Contactor 30A is an electrically operated switching component used to control high-power loads in heating and cooling equipment. It is installed inside the control panel where it connects and disconnects power to equipment such as compressors, condenser fans, and blower motors based on a 120-volt coil signal in HVAC systems. When energized, the contactor closes its three poles to allow current flow to the connected load circuits, and when de-energized, it opens to safely interrupt power.
