The Trane DHY01451 Filter Drier Bi-Flow Liquid Line 8 cu in 3/8″ ODF DCB083S removes moisture, acids, and contaminants from the refrigerant circuit to protect internal components and maintain clean refrigerant flow. It operates through a desiccant core that absorbs while filtering solid debris as refrigerant passes in either direction, allowing proper operation in reversible systems. Mounted in the compatible and other OEM equipment in HVAC systems such as heat pumps, split air conditioners, and packaged refrigeration units, it is brazed into the refrigerant piping between the condenser and expansion parts.
