Description
The Trane DHY01484 Liquid Line Filter Drier removes moisture, acid, and particulate debris from the refrigerant circuit, protecting system parts from contamination-related damage as air conditioner passes through the liquid line. Its internal desiccant core absorbs moisture while the filter media captures solid particles, maintaining clean and dry cooling fluid conditions between the condenser and expansion part throughout the operating cycle. Brazed inline on the liquid line of condensing units, heat pumps, and split units across HVAC systems, it connects at the 5/8-inch ODF inlet and 7/8-inch ODF outlet using standard fusion procedures at the marked connection point.
