The Trane KIT01164 3/4″ Rotolock Kit fits onto refrigerant line connections to form a pressure-rated mechanical joint using a 3/4-inch rotation lock fitting and a 1.25-inch nut tapped at 12 threads per inch, eliminating the need for brazing at the connection point in HVAC systems. It threads onto the fitting body and draws the sealing surfaces together under torque, creating a frigid-tight joint that holds pressure without additional sealing compounds or heat application. Fitted at compressor valves, filter drier connections, and cooling line joints in condensing units and heat pumps, its components align by hand before final tightening with a wrench.
