What is more, it is a single-phase electric motor (1Ph) which defines the fact that it works in one AC circuit only. The power of the motor is 1/5 HP, which allows it to drive a wide range of HVAC equipment with low power consumption. When in use the motor transduces electrical energy into mechanical energy through the use of its internal electromagnetism to turn a shaft at a speed of 1115 RPM. This rotation can then be used to drive the fan, blower or compressor in HVAC equipment.
