Description
The Trane SEN00999 Air Temperature Mixed Sensor measures mixed air temperature to support accurate control of airflow and system response. It has a 15-foot capillary that can be used to do remote sensing along ducts or mixing sections, which can detect the temperature accurately. It works based on an RTD sensing element which reacts to temperature variations and sends signals to the control system, which regulates HVAC systems like air handlers and rooftop units where mixed air monitoring is needed. It is mounted in the duct or mixing chamber and is connected to the control circuit to provide feedback.
