Description
The Trane SEN01542 Liquid Line Temperature Sensor with a 20″ lead thermistor-effective sensing part for HVAC systems to measure refrigerant temperature. It is installed on or near the area where it continuously monitors temperature changes and sends resistance-based signals to the system control board. This input is used to regulate cooling performance, manage refrigerant flow logic, and support protection operation, such as preventing improper subcooling or system inefficiency. It is typically found in heat pumps and air conditioning units and is replaced during sensor.
