The Trane SLG00052 Slinger 2.38″ OD 1/2″ Bore is a moisture control component for such equipment as air handlers, fan coil units, and blower assemblies to manage condensate near rotating shafts. It rotates with the motor shaft and disperses accumulated water away from bearings and internal sections by centrifugal force, reducing water buildup. In HVAC systems like air handlers, fan coil units, and sections, it is fitted onto the motor shaft to redirect condensate away from essential mechanical parts.
