The Trane SRN0973 Copper Strainer is an essential part of HVAC system that is used in order to prevent the damage of delicate equipment due to debris and contaminants. This is a copper made strainer with a 2.75 liter capacity to hold as many particles as possible. During circulation of the system water, the strainer provides a filter that collects all the contaminant including dirt, rust, scale and all other impurities. This filtration process keeps these contaminants out and off the various components such as pumps, valves and heat exchangers.
