Description
The Trane STAS-487T Drier Steel Take-Apart Liquid is used to remove moisture, acids, and contaminants in the refrigerant stream to safeguard system components in chiller and refrigeration HVAC systems, and is designed as a steel take-apart liquid line drier that is easily serviced and maintained by replacing the filter. It works by passing refrigerant through a desiccant core, which is replaceable and absorbs moisture and collects debris to keep the refrigerant. It is mounted in the refrigerant circuit liquid line, and has piping connections that can be easily serviced.
