Description
The Trane SWT02536 Pressure Switch IS2 is an air-pressure-sensing part used in furnaces and air handlers in HVAC systems. It is used to monitor induced airflow pressure and verify proper venting before the ignition sequence continues. It operates the signals from the control board when airflow conditions are reached. It is placed within the combustion or venting circuit of high-efficiency furnaces, where it prevents burner operation unless correct negative pressure is established in the heat exchanger and exhaust process.
