Description
The Trane SWT04656 Low Pressure Switch BZ is a protective control component designed to sense refrigerant pressure levels and interrupt operation when pressure drops below the defined threshold. It works by means of an internal pressure-sensitive diaphragm which activates an electrical contact connected to the control circuit. It is installed on the refrigerant line with the compressor and is directly connected to system safety logic. This switch is used in heat pump HVAC systems and in controlled operation, protection of compressors in maintaining stable operation under different load conditions.
