The Trane SWT04657 Low Pressure Switch BZ detects a refrigerant or airflow reduction and activates an electrical response when the pressure drops to a calibrated limit below the unit. Using a 1/2-inch NPT threaded body with low-pressure sensing calibration, this part reacts to suction-side variations by changing contact state for protective circuit action during abnormal operating conditions. Integrated in compressors, refrigeration circuits, chillers, and HVAC systems, fitting near suction lines or low-pressure zones enables continuous pressure supervision during cooling cycles.
