Description
The Trane THT03091 Limit Switch Open Temperature 135°F Closed Temperature 115°F is used to prevent the HVAC systems from over heating. However, it acts as a safety part where the product turns off machines should the temperature rise to a certain level. The switch works on basic mechanism, it has a bi-metallic strip which gets deflected when exposed to high temperature. This bending action mechanically makes or breaks electrical circuits, thereby disconnecting power to the system. It particularly has the open temperature of 135°F, this is the temperature at which the switch opens the circuit and turns off the equipment.
