Trane THT2545 High Limit Switch monitors internal equipment temperatures and interrupts electrical operation when heat levels exceed specified safety limit. Featuring a temperature-responsive switching element, the control opens the circuit at approximately 120F and automatically resets after temperatures decrease by 20F during normal cooling cycles. Positioned near heat exchangers or heating compartments in commercial HVAC systems, furnaces rooftop heating units and air handlers, it senses temperature changes directly within the equipment cabinet for regulated thermal response. Its compact configuration maintains automatic cycling action, controlled temperature regulation.
