Description
The Trane TNK01038 Tank Heat Exchanger transfers heat between two fluid streams without direct mixing in chiller and hydronic HVAC systems which is designed to be a brazed-plate construction to facilitate refrigerant-to-gas applications to allow compact and efficient heat transfer. It works by having several stacked plates that form alternating channels, which allow the fluids to flow close to each other to facilitate thermal exchange. It is installed in the piping circuit of the system and attached to the inlet and outlet lines to flow continuously. Its operation facilitates effective heat transfer in different load conditions.
