Description
The Trane VAL06849 Thermostatic Expansion Valve regulates refrigerant flow into the evaporator coil by adjusting output in response to temperature and pressure changes to maintain balanced cooling performance in HVAC systems. This valve offers 0.63-inch ODS by 0.88-inch ODS connections and a 5-foot capillary tube to support metering of refrigerant at a steady rate of compatible coil assemblies. It has sensing bulb that measures suction line temperature to adjust internal valve position in different load conditions. The internal mechanism ensures that there is a proportional delivery of refrigerants to the demand of the system.
