Description
The Trane VAL09572 Indoor Expansion Valve (TXV) is designed to measure a standard R410A refrigerant entering a compatible indoor evaporator. It responds to evaporator conditions and adjusts the refrigerant passage to regulate flow through the coil. The 0.50-inch inlet and 0.88-inch outlet provide the specified interfaces for compatible refrigerant tubing, while the 60-inch capillary provides the required connection length for the sensing arrangement. The valve installs at the evaporator inlet with the capillary and sensing components positioned according to the equipment configuration in HVAC systems. This metering action supports controlled refrigerant distribution, proper superheat, effective heat absorption, and stable indoor cooling performance.
