Description
The Trane VAL09598 6-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve 3/8” ODF Inlet X 1/2” ODF Outlet control the amount of refrigerant supplied to the evaporator. Its sensing mechanism react to changes in temperature and pressure and shifts the valve opening accordingly. The 6-ton capacity corresponds to the intended cooling range, while the 3/8” ODF inlet and 1/2” ODF outlet provide the specified piping connections. Positioned upstream of the evaporator the valve regulate refrigerant entering the heat transfer section in HVAC systems. Its metering action keeps the refrigerant feed responsive as conditions change during the cooling cycle.
