Description
The Trane VAL10490 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is an essential part of refrigeration and air conditioning systems. For efficient performance, it immediately regulates the mass flow rate control of refrigerant into the evaporator. This valve works with the help of variations in the temperature. The second is where the refrigerant temperature in the evaporator increases, the sensing bulb pressures up, and this yields to increased opening of the valve to allow more refrigerant to flow. On the other hand, as the temperature decreases, the bulb shrinks and narrows the openings within the appliance. This dynamic control ensures that there is a constant temperature of the evaporator and protects it from being damaged by over flow of the refrigerant.
