Description
Trane VAL12003 Expansion Valve is used to control the flow of refrigerant and the proper superheat control in HVAC systems. It has a 1.387 inch ODS inlet and a 2.500 inch outlet connection, which allows the metering of refrigerant between high- and low-pressure sections. It is located in the refrigeration circuit and regulates the evaporator feed rates as well as facilitates effective thermal exchange. The valve assists in maintaining the steady pressure, and a constant cooling performance in case of variations in the load.
