The Trane VAL12837 25-ton Thermal Expansion Valve is for air conditioning systems and refrigeration in industrial and commercial applications. TXVs are essential parts of refrigeration circuits they control the amount of refrigerant that enters the evaporator. This type of valve works under temperature control conditions. An integrally fitted sensing bulb located at the evaporator end is responsible for measuring the refrigerant temperatures and feeding back this information to the valve in question.
