Description
The Trane VAL18890 Expansion Valve Series JS is used to control the flow of refrigerant in the evaporator to obtain adequate superheat, which may be applied to HVAC systems. It was designed in a Series JS configuration which is sensitive to pressure and temperature changes in order to meter refrigerant accurately. It is placed on the evaporator inlet and ensures controlled distribution of refrigerants and avoids coil flooding. The valve assists in maintaining balanced thermal exchange, constant cooling operation and the coordinated interplay with compressor, and evaporator units to manage temperature effectively.
