Description
The Trane VAL18985 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is used to stabilize the flow and pressure of refrigerant in HVAC systems and provides accurate cooling operation in all evaporator circuits of the system. It works with superheat monitoring at the evaporator outlet and controls the flow of refrigerant to achieve the better heat transfer. It has rated capacity of 12.5 tons and is intended to be used in Circuit-1 applications, which is compatible with the relevant refrigeration or air conditioning system. It should be properly installed and connected to refrigerant lines and aligned with the evaporator coil.
