Description
The Trane VAL20636 Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) R410A is a refrigerant metering component, used to control the flow of R-410A refrigerant into the evaporator coil in HVAC systems. It is a 6-ton-capacity system with 10 feet of sensing bulb tube and it reacts to variations in superheat to change refrigerant delivery to ensure optimum heat exchange and system, efficiency. It works with air conditioning and heat pumps in conjunction with the compressor and coils to maintain a balance of pressure and temperature during the cooling cycle. It regulates the distribution of refrigerants, to maintain a constant performance energy consumption.
