Description
The Trane VAL20680 Thermal Expansion Valve HXCE-6-ZX200 is a metering component of the refrigerant utilized in the HVAC systems to control the flow of the evaporator coil depending on the load conditions. It is fitted in the liquid line between the evaporator and the condenser and detects superheat and it regulates the refrigerant volume to ensure efficient heat exchange. It is used with the compressor, condenser and evaporator to stabilize the pressures and temperatures, to assist stable cooling functionality, and to guard against coil flooding or inefficiencies.
