Description
The Trane VAL7407 is a Relief Valve, it is not a regular valve; is an essential safety parts that protect HVAC systems from high pressure. It has a 1/4 National Pipe Tapered Female Inlet and a 3/8” Male Flare Outlet. This valve works under Zero Pressure Demand, where it opens when the pressure at the system reaches a certain pressure and allows oversized fluid to be discharged at the required pressure range to protect the equipment from being damaged. It is widely used in different equipments like, chillers, heat pumps, and air conditioning equipment. The advantages of this valve include Overpressure protection, easy installation and it is suitable for use with most of the refrigerants.
