Description
The Trane VAL7559 is a 5-ton thermal expansion valve (TXV) that is applied in the HVAC systems to control refrigerant. The valve is made of stainless steel, and its 36-inch capillary tube measures the temperature of the evaporator. In this way, the superheat at the evaporator outlet is achieved, which is the temperature difference between the refrigerant and the air leaving the evaporator, to prevent the compressor from being damaged by the entry of liquid refrigerant. The TXV model has a 5-ton rating, thus, is suitable for home or even business uses especially for those that require moderate air conditioning. Sweat connections require soldering, and this makes the installation process to be much easier. The inlet and outlet diameters are 5/16” and Chatlef.
