Description
The Trane VAL8224 Reversing Valve is another component part of Trane HVAC systems, which provides both heating and cooling Trane Systems during different seasons. Unlike other types of valves that regulate water flow, the VAL8224 works as a refrigerant traffic police. With the help of a 24V coil, the valve changes the flow of the refrigerant in your system. This enables your Trane HVAC unit to transfer heat in and out conveniently when in its cooling and heating cycles (discharge). With ODF connections for simple connection to the Trane system, the Trane VAL8224 Reversing Valve is built to last and provide smooth operation all year round for a comfortable living environment.
