The Watts F121451 1″ Temperature & Pressure Relief Valve 3,085,000 BTU is used to relieve pressure on equipment in HVAC systems such as boilers, and hot water heating units. It operates on a spring-loaded temperature system, that opens 140S-3-1-150 automatically when pressure, or temperature exceeds safe limits, releasing excess fluid to prevent system damage. It is installed in boiler, or tank connections and combines with piping, and discharge lines to provide controlled relief. This aids in avoiding overpressure conditions safe operation of the system and stable performance during heating cycles.
