Description
The York S1-022-13719-000 8-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is used to regulate the refrigerant flow into the evaporator, to ensure the correct cooling balance. It works based on the evaporator conditions and adjusts flow to maintain constant levels of superheat to facilitate efficient heat exchange in HVAC systems. The 1/2″ x 7/8″ ODF is the size of the inlet and outlet copper connections that can be soldered. The 91 PSIG P-H pressure setting is to be used to calibrate and adequately regulate refrigerant. It is applied in air conditioning and heat pump systems in residential and commercial conditions.
