Description
The York S1-6413812 Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) 90 PSIG 3/8” X 5/8″ ODF is a metering system used to regulate refrigerant flow into the evaporator coil by responding to changes in load conditions. It is applied in air conditioning and heat pump systems where precise control of chilled air delivery is required for stable cooling. It operates through a sensing bulb attached to the suction line that monitors temperature and adjusts an internal needle to control cold passage.
