Description
The Zilmet ZETA-40 Hydronic Expansion Tank is a pressure management component used to allow thermal expansion in closed-loop hydronic heating units in HVAC systems. It is fitted on the supply or return pipeline of a boiler, or heat exchanger, with the tank towering diaphragm-style, accepting the extra amount of water as the system temperature varies. It has a capacity of 25 gallons, which is large enough to accommodate the requirements of larger residential, or light commercial installations. It is connected to the piping and pressure controls to assist in maintaining the operating pressure constant throughout the normal heating cycles.
