Description
The International Comfort Products EHC15BKB 15kW Heat Kit is an electric resistance heat strip assembly that acts as an auxiliary heating element in compatible air handler systems. It is mounted within the air handling unit of HVAC systems and supplements the heat requirement when the main heat pump or furnace is unable to supply the heating needs. The kit operates electric heating elements that heat air as it flows through the system, assist to keep the supply air temperature constant in colder outdoor conditions. It is combined with the control board and safety limits to control the staged heating operation.
