The Carrier HD42AR249 Motor is an airflow controller that uses electrical input to convert variable-speed rotational movement to control air delivery in furnace, air handler, and packaged HVAC systems, with a 1/3 horsepower ECM design operating at 208 or 230 V to provide efficient airflow control. It works with electronically commutated motor technology, with speed depending on the control signals, and enables accurate control of airflow under different load conditions.
