Description
The Schwank JS-0575-YZ Air Proving Switch is a pressure-sensitive control component used to check proper airflow before burner ignition, or continued equipment operation in HVAC systems. Rated at 1.30″ WC it monitors air pressure generated by blowers or draft systems and signals the control circuit when airflow reaches the required level. This switch is placed in commercial heating equipment, unit heaters and ventilation assemblies where airflow confirmation is necessary for better operation. Within the system, it assists in preventing ignition issues, improper combustion conditions, and airflow-related shutdowns by confirming air movement process is operating within specified parameters.
