Description
The Trane VAL9085 8-Ton Expansion Valve is used to regulate the quantity of refrigerant to be introduced into the evaporator when cooling It responds to changes in temperature and pressure at the evaporator outlet, changing an internal valve opening to regulate the flow of refrigerant as conditions in the system change. The valve is fitted in the liquid refrigerant line of commercial air conditioning and refrigeration HVAC systems and is installed just before the evaporator coil where refrigerant expansion occurs.
