Description
The ABB ACH580-01-04A8-4 3HP Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) which runs at 480V and 4.8A. It controls electric motor speed primarily in HVAC systems through its applications in fans and pumps and compressors. The VFD controls motor speed through precise adjustments of the power supply frequency. The VFD enables major energy conservation through demand-based motor control while simultaneously protecting equipment components and enhancing system control. Implementation of VFD operating at 480V and 4.8A produces three key advantages of improved energy efficiency and smoother motor performance and longer equipment longevity.
